Did You Know That Detroiters Have Access to Free Business Education and Don't Use it?

Detroiters have the DOEE Getters Academy and like many great resources available to them, it's not getting the exposure that would allow it to flourish.

Detroit's Online Entrepreneurship Education (DOEE) Academy is a resource for entrepreneurial development. Currently anyone with a desire to build relationships with Venture Capitalist, Bankers, and Angel Investors can benefit tremendously from the interactive online school.

One of the ways that the economy will turn around is that existing entrepreneurs learn to maximize their opportunities. SBA and the US Department of Commerce Research has demonstrated that over 500,000 small business owners often closed their doors each year during the past decade. Research has also revealed why many of these businesses close.

This is why the DOEE Getters Academy was created. It's about maximizing opportunity so that local economies will prosper. Nearly 50,000 businesses will be opened in the Motor City area. Only 10 percent will remain open after one year. This trend is what has lead to the current situation. DOEE Getters Academy teachers entrepreneurship that is in alignment with the larger economic agendas guiding the State and Nation's revitalization.

Excellent grass roots product and service innovation and business development mentoring is online and its free! Will you evaluate the potential of this resource?

Thank you for posting... it is good to see something like this out there too bad it isn't getting the exposure it needs.

Jamie,

I appreciate your response. I believe everything has its time. I completed the Academy in late September. And as you are aware, the election, and all of the economic related bad news is creating a tremendous amount of social, intellectual, and spiritual static. But I must admit, their are some people not happy about having a "do gooder" competing for their spot on the stage. This phenomenom blows my mind. Shouldn't the purpose be the star and the goals and objectives achieved be the award. Ummmmm!

Thanks for replying.
