NOW COLLECTING "DECORATIONS" FOR NEXT YEAR
Before you put away the DECORATIONS (items like lights, ornaments, wreaths, candles, collectibles, nativity scenes, holiday decor, figurines, etc.) this year, consider donating some of the ones that you won't use again to be sold NEXT YEAR at the "Lucia Christmas Store" with 100% OF THE PROCEEDS going to "Angel Tree" (a non-profit that provides gifts and food to the children of prison inmates in their parent's name) - http://www.angeltree.org
I will be collecting the donations until the END OF JANUARY '09. So, give me a call so I can arrange to get them from you.
[ FYI: We collected over $2,000 this year from the decorations we sold, which bought gifts for children of 37 families, in addition to food staples for the family ].

BTW, I met a neighbor of yours whose office is where I THOUGHT yours was. The guy has the biggest collection of PEZ that anyone would ever want to see. Too funny.
Phenomenal idea, Mark. Is there any centralized location where people can drop off items? I'd be happy to help promote the idea through Buy Michigan Now if we can direct people somewhere to drop donations off.
