Looking for Professionals Interested in Introducing Their Profession + Networking to College Students
Hi MCC!
I teach a course at Lawrence Tech called Business Issues and Practices. It's a freshman-level business course. On February 26, from 1-2:50 p.m., the students will be participating in a networking exercise. For many of the students, this will be their very first networking experience, so I want to make it a valuable one by inviting professionals who work in the fields that match the students' interests, rather than by doing a simulation with profs/students the class already knows.
If you, or someone you know, are involved in the following areas and are interested, we would love to have you out! Just send me an e-mail at kevans [at] ltu [dot] edu or call 248.204.3508. Thanks!

Karen,
This is a great idea. I've done something similar with sales professionals and it was a powerful opportunity to demonstrate important business (and life) development behaviors. I'll check with some people I know in HR, Entrepreneurship, and Insurance to see if they can help. If you have a connection to Tech Town, they could be a very good source for Entrepreneurs and Finance (Venture Capital) people.
