Distribution Supervisor - 2-3 month contract position

JOB TITLE:   Distribution Supervisor

JOB TYPE:    2-3 month contract - Midnight Shift: 11:00 pm-7:30 am

JOB LOCATION:   Romulus , MI

PAY RATE:           $20-$25/hr

GENERAL NATURE and SCOPE

Under the direction of the Sr. Distribution Supervisor, is responsible for transportation of domestic, International and Governmental shipments; the receiving of all incoming materials both inventory and non inventory, their distribution and warehousing.  Also, is responsible for storage of finished products and inventory of all materials.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Other duties may be assigned, in addition to those identified below.

• Responsible for supervision of assigned hourly and salaried associates.


• Works with Sr. Distribution Supervisor to establish hourly/daily/weekly Distribution/Inventory productivity and time utilization goals.


• Review all documentation and monitor Distribution activities for accuracy and timeliness.


• Ensure timely shipment of all customer orders.


• Secure data for the Sr. Distribution Supervisor that will focus on improving efficiency, quality and safety.

Must have UAW experience.
