Ideas on How to Encourage, Uplift Clients

One of my clients is an independent insurance agency (mostly writing home & auto) and many of their clients are coming in very depressed, stressed and lacking hope.


So my client came to me to ask what they could do to encourage their clients. I supplied some ideas; however, I know there are many, many other great ideas within our MCC network.


So my ask is:  what do you suggest my client can do to encourage & uplift their clients?

In further thinking about this question, I came up with hosting a "Client Care Day." This would be a day set aside for your clients, on an invitation-only basis, although they would be encouraged to bring a guest.


Some of the free things you could provide during this "Client Care Day" would be free chair massages, free, family-friendly comedies, (After all, laughter is the best medicine.), a clown making balloon animals for the kids, free relaxing refreshments like herbal teas, have give-away bags packed with useful information from mental health and other medical professionals on reducing/eliminating stress,, etc. The key to this event is that it it is entirely set-up to give back to clients; no sales allowed.

The idea of a special day for people to relax, visit, and have fun sounds really good.


One relatively easy and simple thing to do is spend a few extra minutes with clients listening to their concerns, then reaching out to our networks to help provide support/answers. The key is listening and taking action. Even if we are not able to solve the problem, our act of trying may encourage our client to generate some positive momentum on their own.
