Ask for Workshop Presenters

Please introduce me to a person or persons interested in presenting to and answering questions from non-professionals looking for employment. The workshop participants are seeking entry level, general labor, and skilled/unskilled trade jobs.

I am the new assistant director at the Ray of Hope Day Center in Eastpointe and have been asked to develop a seminar for our clients and the general public. Most of our clients are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless. Many participate in our Peer Support Group and are looking for long term employment but don't necessarily have the basic job application and interviewing skills needed.

Job seeking skills to be presented (partial list):
- Basic resume and cover letter writing
- Filling out a job application
- Personal presentation
- Interview strategies
- Follow up strategies
