Hi,
My name is Chuck Trivette. My goal is to grow my business this year through many ways including networking. I am new at networking and not sure how well this will help with a heating and cooling business. But i intend to find out.
So if anyone may have suggestions to my question. I will greatly appreciate it.
Thanks
Chuck

Hi Chuck,
I believe networking helps all businesses. It is the key to increasing business through referrals as well. There are many ways to network - MotorCity Connect, BNI, LBN, Chamber of Commerce, and more. Where are you located and I will see how I can further assist.

Hello,
My name is Lisa Williams. I am also new to networking and am wondering how it can help me. I have an online business. I believe my business can really benefit everyone who wants to give a nice gift, but is on a budget. The customers I have who have used the booklets, just love them.
It is difficult to get to the events held by MCC because they are Monday thru Friday when I am working my 9 to 5 job. I could come to an event on a weekend in downtown Detroit. I do not drive. Do the members of MCC have to set up events themselves?
Lisa-
HERE is the calendar of events. We have yet to do any weekend events and will be adding another happy hour or two and I'm sure we will back in Detroit proper soon.

HERE are about 162 discussion posts under the heading of "Best practices, Networking". Lots of people have shared their views and wisdom. I am sure you will both find it useful.
On the off chance you're interested, I wrote an e-book that sells for $9.00 and is full of information on the things you need to know to get started networking. It is located at http://www.trybean.com. I am donating 40% of the proceeds raised to support Linda Anger in her battle against cancer.
Connectedly yours-
Terry
