Tip- Your humidifier has a control that senses the humidity level in your home. Average in Michigan should be set at 35% or some dials will have other readings such as medium. Somewhere in the middle is best. Although you can turn it up as high as you want. But the colder the temperature is outside the colder your windows will be and could sweat or condensate. So adjust down until the condensation dissapears and you should still be comfortable. And dont forget to clean your humidifier and change your pads annually!

Just wanted to offer my opinion for you.


First you need to make your web site a lighter color. Typically business web sites are lighter in color and black is a very intimidating color so right off I felt a sort of bad vibe when I visited your site. You will want to lighten it up (probably a white background).


Your web site is coded with tables which is a very bad web practice because it can slow site performance and quite frankly, doesn't look good 99% of the time.


Your web site also has numerous errors which can affect load times. (It is also coded in HTML which is becoming outdated, everyone has moved on to XHTML because it has less errors.)


Check them at the W3C web standards validation tool:

The coupons should probably be moved to a separate page.


Heating and cooling brands would look a lot better aligned horizontal along the bottom above the footer.


Logo needs to be moved to the top of the page so they remember it.


The poorly photoshopped woman with the credit cards should probably be removed and the credit card logos could either be at the top right of the page or near where the brand logos are.


Contact us form doesn't need to be made in Flash and would look better if it was just a regular form. (You could probably provide some more specific fields in it as well like budget etc.)


Those are just things I would change, I hope I wasn't too critical, but after all I was offering my design opinion.


From a consumer standpoint (although I do not know of many 16 year olds in the market for air conditioners):


I have no idea what HVAC is, might need explanation.


Your relevant content all needs to be in the same spot, not in different panels around the web site. If you make the consumers look for it they will quickly leave your web site.


Some of the pictures are tacky. The girl with the credit cards bugs me Wink


I also noticed that your google page rank is 0 and you are probably not indexed in the search engines. Basic optimization couldn't hurt you, and you might want to look into link exchanging to boost your google ranking and show up in the searches.

I Dig It:  I like the following factors


1. Your Phone Number and Working hours I can see that right away
2. Your services & selling points are listed in the top right column.
3. I like  the idea of providing coupons & building credibility(BBB)
4. Simple navigation -no confusing
But all of these good factors are just lost in your site and not standing out for your potential undecided client
s.
As the owner of DotSign a Web design & Marketing firm specific for Small & Mid Size business, I  see Web site a 3 parts - Creative , Marketing (you don't want  just a visual amusement, do you ?) and Technical 




Areas for improvement



Creative:


1.Nothing catching - There is no element that captures my attention to stay a little longer to read more info


2. Monotonous:  No Color differentiation. In our 6 years experience, we know for sure color psychology and presentation plays a part in marketing & Sales. - Not so "eye friendly".  



Marketing:


1. The precious "top center" area is lost to a simple image that says "Dunrite Heating and Cooling" . I like your business name but that alone is not going to make a potential client Call you . This area/space is PRECIOUS. This is where the eye goes right away - Need a strong message


2. Professionalism and credibility: People form images of your business from Web sites - My first impressions are not very clear and convincing. Quality of images used are also conveys Professional Business Vs Not So serious business



Technical:


I am not going to repeat the good things mentioned in earlier post again,in addition...


1. I looked at the source code - There is nothing other than title that helps Search Engine Optimization - How do you think can be on top in Google ?


2. Security: The contact page is vulnerable for spams. Hopefully you are not already experiencing it :)


Over all I think its good starters Website for budget reasons but not a business builder. You already have very short and sweet effective messages. Just need to be presented right.

Remember a Web site for a business is not just putting together some software code or images together. It is your Business's Image, its your Sales tool.
