Earth Day's 40th anniversary is Thursday, April 22nd, and I hope you will take time to visit at least one of the events listed at www.michigan.gov/documents/dnre/MI_Earthdayeventssoutheastmi_31575_7.pdf
Two local events to bring to your attention:
- Lake Orion's Growing Green Earth Day EXPO, April 22nd from 1 to 7 PM at Canterbury Village, 2325 Joslyn Road. We will have a display there and are offering an energy awareness campaign kit as a door prize.
-Michigan Earth Day Celebration, downtown Rochester, April 22-25th. This is the biggest event in the state.
