Ok, So I am hearing we are seeing changes in this economy

Yes, I am personally experiencing an upward trend in the economy. My husband is currently on a small assignment, the first one since last October.  A friend received a call to interview as a designer at GM, she was laid off a year 1/2 ago. Another friend was hired as an employee at Chrysler verses a independent contractor.  And those are only three off the top of my head.

I think the down economy has been a blessing in that it really showed me what's important in life and how easy it is to live more simply.  I encourage everyone to try that!

Strange timing for this one.  I just did a call around survey of clients last week asking the same question.  75% say definite increase in inquiries and quotes.  Jobs are actually being awarded too!  Pricing still sticky, but after 2 years of survival mode, many clients have breakeven point down so far that all the margin on jobs drops to the bottom line anyway.  Biggest Worry: Having to face decision to add to overhead staff in order to keep quality service up.  Think that's a good thing though.  Caution keeps the mind sharp.

Yes I am receiving more requests for quotes and the year started off a whole lot stronger than last year.  Lets keep pre-paving a stronger and more prosperous economy. 

Thanks for your replies all.  I was testing the feedback I am getting from clients and network partners.  You are confirming much of what I have been sensing for the last few months.  Keep it gong!  A lot has to do with our mindset--do we see the economy as a challenge or as something we help create!
