African Wildlife Photo Exhibit at Southfield Library all month

It is with pleasure that international wildlife and travel photographer, William Cowger announces a new photography exhibit at the Southfield Library for the entire month of September, 2010.

A Photographic Wildlife Adventure Through the Serengeti

William Cowger of Acacia Photography in Troy, Michigan, is proud to announce a visual adventure of wildlife photography that will run from September 1 - September 30, 2010 in the 2nd floor gallery in the Southfield Public Library at 26300 Evergreen Road, Southfield, Michigan. The 'African Adventure' exhibit is sure to whet the appetite of the most savvy wildlife, travel and photography enthusiast.

'Nothing gives me more pleasure than introducing people to the wonders of the amazing wildlife, the beautiful scenery and the warm and welcoming people of Tanzania." says Mr. Cowger. Whether attending this exhibit due to interest in the world-renowned photo safaris and workshops Mr. Cowger conducts each year in the Serengeti in Tanzania, or to experience the next best choice -- immersing yourself in your own world of exclusive photographs of the daily struggle for survival of the fittest -- you are in for a rewarding experience. "I will never tire of taking people on this trip of a lifetime.  Each and every time it is like we experience our own private 'wildlife special'.  Because the unpredictability of the wild, each trip is unique and is never repeated", according to Cowger.

Updated with new photographs from the most recent safari that ended August 3, 2010, the visitor will be treated to large cats playing in trees, giraffes fighting for the right to mate, rhinos and elephants charging, and other exclusive images that will provide you with your own personal 'wildlife special'.

Mr. Cowger will be in attendance to (quietly) greet visitors to the exhibit on Sunday September 12 from 2-4 PM and on Thursday September 16th from 6-8PM  At these times he will be available to answer questions and discuss the 2011 Safari schedule.

Library hours are Mon-Thurs 9:30AM - 9PM; Fri & Sat 9:30AM - 5:30PM; Sun  1-5PM.
