My Daughter Gayle needs your help.
Please read every word of this heartfelt
letter
she wrote and asked me to send to you.
Dear Friends of my Dad,
My mother, Amy Barris is a true
breast cancer survivor.
As a daughter of a cancer survivor I discovered
what it’s like to have a loved one diagnosed with cancer.
I remember the day she shared the heart breaking
news.
I was home in bed sick when she walked into my
bedroom with tears in her frightened eyes.
A ghostly look crossed her entire figure as she
quietly told me that she wasn’t going anywhere.
My mom was right, and I could never have imagined
it any other way.
When
she was too sick to get out of bed I remember going into her room just
to keep her company.
No matter how much pain she was in she still
always managed to smile and laugh hysterically.
Today she is alive and absolutely
beautiful.
I love her entirely for her admiration to help
others in hundreds of ways.
This will be Mom’s fourth year
participating in the breast cancer three day walk.
My Mom
Has Never Given Up Hope.
To this day I am amazed at her courage and
strength to survive.
She is both an incredible mother and
friend.
Now, I signed up for the 3-day walk months ago and
have raised $1500.
I am almost there!!
But, I gotta admit.
I gave up at the beginning because I
didn’t think it was possible to raise the $2,200 dollars.
I’ve contemplated many reasons in my
head not to do it, but my thoughts have turned and I have not found a
single reason why I should give up.
I Will Not
Give Up .
If my mother had given up she may not have been
alive today.
I hope to follow in her footsteps and would be
honored to be able to walk
hand-in-hand with her across the finish line.
So far, I have held fundraisers, have gone
door-to-door and have raised money from generous family and friends.
To be able to take part in the walk I genuinely
need your help to finish fundraising the $2200.
I am asking all of my Dad's
friends, family, and supporters of breast cancer to dig in deep within
their hearts to donate to this wonderful cause.

$2200. Because without your help I will not be able to join my mom in
the walk and I would love to be able to take part, hand-in-hand with
Mom,
in this remarkable event.
